Overwashing is one of the fastest ways to wear out your favorite clothes. Each wash cycle breaks down fibers, fades colors, and causes pilling. Instead, try spot-cleaning stains or simply airing out items between wears. You’ll notice that garments washed less frequently stay brighter and hold their shape longer compared to those tossed in the machine after every use. Of course, underwear and gym clothes are exceptions—they need regular washing for hygiene. For the rest, less is truly more when it comes to laundry.
