12. Avoid Direct Sunlight When Drying

While fresh air is great for drying, direct sunlight can do more harm than good. UV rays break down fibers and cause colors—especially dark or vibrant ones—to fade much faster. Whenever possible, dry your clothes in a shaded area or indoors near an open window. This approach helps maintain the intensity of your favorite shades and keeps fabrics strong.
